Tom O'Gorman

Tom O'Gorman (17) - Tom is a junior in high school at St. Xavier High School in CIncinnati, Ohio.

2008 was Tom's debut season in motorsports, beginning in the Cincinnati region SCCA, autocrossing his Honda Civic. At the Peru National Tour, Tom had the opportunity to co-drive an STS2 Miata and won the event. The very next weekend, he competed in the same car at the Toledo ProSolo.

Tom was convinced he needed an STS2 car, and bought his own 1990 Miata a month later. He went on to win the 2008 Ohio Vally Region SCCA Governor's Cup in team-mate Dan Chambers Honda Civic, win multiple local autocrosses in team-mate D. Scott Bourne's Honda Civic, Greg Lloyd's Corvette, and David Santel's BMW Z4, and even a few in his own car (imagine that...).

He plans to run a full national solo season in 2009 in his own Miata and make a run for a 2009 National Championship."
