D. Scott Bourne

D. Scott Bourne has always been a car guy. From the time he was 2 years old, cars has not only been a love, but a passion. Throughout his school years, Scott spent his spare time working on cars and occasionally a little racing too. After high school, he started in the Automotive Retail Industry as a Purchasing agent for for Toyota buying thousands of pre-owned cars all across the country which eventually led to his career in retail sales for Mazda. In his travels, he has made many contacts and kept in touch with them for mutual business relationships and friendships.
In 1999, Scott met and married his wife Sacha. They have a daughter Meagan (14), a son Joshua (7), and Alexander (3). Their son Joshua was diagnosed with Moderate Autism in 2003 which no doubt was a life-changing event. Joshua like his father, has an avid love for cars. He likes to weave in and out of cones like daddy does in his John Deere Gator! Scott's wife Sacha is also a racer.
In 2005, Scott left Mazda to pursue a career with Ken Towery's Auto Care which afforded him the ability to spend more time at home for Joshua's sake. Scott's experience with automobiles made him a great choice for the role of "Tire Guy" in the market. Scott has spent 6 years as an SCCA member traveling all over the country competing in National Solo Events and also competing as several different road courses over the past 18 years. Scott has several region titles as well as multiple National level podium finishes/wins at venues all across the country.
Scott and his family are huge supporters of Autism Speaks and hope that you will help Joshua and children like him, find the missing piece of the puzzle that will beat Autism.
