Andy is the founder of SMS Racing, the parent team for the Eau Rude Racing, 24 hours of LeMons Race for Autism Awarness. He is the only one among us that had a legit copy of Dreamweaver, and a tubing bender, so he demanded his team name went up front. Seriously, he threatened to take his toys home if we didn't humor him.. WE HAD TO!!
Andy is a jack of all trades and general small time hustler. Not satisfied to use the balance of the $300 left over from their $200 car purchase for NEW injectors, he went and found some used ones for $7.00. I sure hope we make it through the race, this guy is going to be the death of us yet!
Mr. SMS drives a Ford Festiva of all things, He is also well known for being the only person in recent memory to actually FLIP a car during an autocross... did that make him buy a real car? Heck no! He just flipped it back over,cut off the top, welded in a cage and came back to win the overall Points Championship in D Modified Solo competition in the Cincy Region SCCA. (just don't ask him how many competitors he had to go up against!)
When Andy isn't screwing things up, just so he can fix them, he is running the Cincy Region Solo Program, or listening to the stuffed shirts (you know who you are!) as a member of the Board of Directors for the Cincinnati Sports Car Club of America (Don't even TRY to tell him his Festiva isn't a Sports Car!) We really aren't sure what he does for a living... and are afraid to ask!
